The other evening, after work and some exercising in the gym, we found a new spot for a drink and some tapas around Palau de la Música.
Bar Pasajes. A real discovery and authentic insider recommendation.
It is located in a reconverted tiny old kiosk in the passage that communicates Sant Pere més Alt with Trafalgar.
This bar, squeezed into a narrow alleyway we had never noticed before, is very simple, authentic and unsophisticated. So not for the ones who might mind sitting on a bench made out of beer barrels.
Another aspect we REALLY liked, was that there were many locals and neighbors.

We had the roasted artichokes in oil for 4,50€ (our favorite), very nice cecina and potatoes with garlic sauce. We also loved the fact that is serves good and proper “bocadillos”. The one with milanesa and the other one with cheese, anchovies, avocado and tomato were simply great. The beer is served nice and cold, and the marianitos (vermouth) and 1/2 G&T looked very appealing.
