Design Sets the Stage in Barcelona.
Remember my post about the new design studio of Entresuelo1A ?
Here another post related to them.
They’ve also shared a couple of pictures of the making of which took nearly two days and included the visit of Ricardo Bofill’s studio, Room Service design shop and gallery, Otras Cosas de Villarosás design gallery and Carlos & Gerard’s own studio.
Filming at their temporary studio where they apparently had to repeat the same scene about 20 times but what at the same time caused a lot of laughter! Was somebody not getting the sentence right?
Their skateboard stunt in front of Ricardo Bofill’s studio in St. Just Desvern. Carlos driving the camera man on his own scooter:
Being able to enter Ricardo Bofill’s studio and talking to the architect was a real privilege and true insider access, as this studio is normally not open to the public.
Otras Cosas de Villarosás is very recommendable and I suggest you sign up to their newsletter to be always informed about their latest events ad exhibits, mainly from up and coming designers from Spain and abroad. Located in an old bank office on Via Laietana it is easily missed when passing by and therefore still a hidden gem in the city.
Room Service is close to the MACBA and offers stunning design from all over the world.
Finally, if you have not read it, have a look at our previous post about Entresuelo1.
